Ety8 Bluetooth EarphoneIt’s a proven fact that wires suck – heck I’m even scared to look behind my TV and that’s probably why I prefer a laptop too. Microsoft have seen the light and allowed their latest Zune music player to sync wirelessly with your PC so that sorts that bit out. Now we’re still stuck with corded earphones when it comes to listening to music. Until now that is …

Etymotic have come out with their ety8 wireless earphones that make use of Bluetooth to offer you truly hassle free music on the go. Available packages include an iPod and standard edition allow you to have wireless music on the go with any device out there. The iPod system includes the a wireless transmitter addon that clips into the expansion for on supported iPods (such as the Nano 1st/2nd generation). Once connected you’ll about between 6 to 9 hours of battery life and a standard bluetooth range limit of 10m.

If you’re interested in this item then take a look at the ety8 homepage for more information. UK customers head on over to the Apple Store to grab one for £199.95
