hugms is a device designed for sending someone you care about a hug using your mobile phone.  Connect your mobile phone up to your hugms unit via bluetooth and you’re set to show your loved one how much you care.  Select the phone number of the person you’d like to hug and then squeeze the device.  Magic sensors in the hugms unit determine just how hard you’ve squeezed and sends off the appropriate “hug”.

Your recipient will get an SMS such ‘hhhhhhuuuuuuuuuuggggggg’ or ‘hhHHUUUUUUugg’ – it’s all about the initial squeeze.  Light and colour displays convey just how much you care.  Provided both of you have a hugms you can easily reply to a hug by squeezing your unit.  Failing that replying to the SMS will perform the same act and alert the hugms to glow a warm colour.
