Tux-shaped computer runs Linux

Linux Tux RiscpcMost devoted *nix geeks will have some form of toy depicting their chosen operating system.  For me at one stage it was the fabulous FreeBSD devil but that’s another story…  Watch out as you never know what that “toy” on the system administrators desk might be doing.

ACME System is selling a miniature PC encased in the Linux mascot.  Features include Ethernet and dual-USB connectors as well as other (optional) IO connectors such as serial and a planned RJ11 connector.  Otherwise it’s got 4MB of Flash memory and 16MB of RAM and comes with the 2.4.31 Linux kernel.

Now what would be ultra cool is if this unit’s eyes were a miniature webcam as you’d have your very own personal security mascot!  More details on the device are available here.
