If you find yourself having to re-type text from paper documents then the IRISPen might be of use to you. This USB powered pen features the latest in Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to easily transform printed text and images into any application.
Okay so it’s probably most useful to lawyers but it does come with a cool translator option allowing you to encode and translate foreign language texts by scanning them, and then hearing the words spoken.
